Founded in Summer 2022, United Colt is a Promethean design brand producing fashion and lifestyle goods. Our goal is to make timeless garments for a wide variety of occasions. Whether you’re in a relaxed space and you want to wear comfortable clothes, or you’re in a formal setting and you want to dress up; United Colt is a brand that allows an individual to maintain who he or she is in any occasion without sacrificing any aspects of comfortability for a particular style.

To better understand what United Colt represents, it is important to define Promethean. The word Promethean is derived from Prometheus, a Titan who was chained and tortured by Zeus for stealing fire from heaven and giving it to humankind. What Prometheus represents is personified in United Colt and our designs embody the fire that was stolen from heaven and given to society. The extension of the name Prometheus to the word Promethean is defined as relating to the demigod Prometheus, especially in being rebelliously creative and innovative. This definition aligns with United Colt’s core aesthetic, which takes inspiration from countercultural aesthetics driving innovative design styles.

The acknowledgment and acceptance of alternative lifestyles has changed post pandemic as people have become more expressive and self aware, with mental health being talked about more than it ever has been before. Over the past three years, no singular brand has risen to the top to serve these underrepresented communities sporting a loving message in order to create a welcoming community. United Colt aims to fill the hole in that market that has become the foundation of our brand.
